IT Support Technician

About the Role
We’re looking for a detail-oriented IT Support Technician to provide technical assistance and ensure smooth day-to-day IT operations. You’ll be the first point of contact for staff experiencing technical difficulties, handling everything from troubleshooting to hardware/software maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-line technical support via phone, email, or in-person.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain computers, printers, and other devices.
- Support staff with Microsoft Office, email, and business applications.
- Monitor system performance and escalate complex issues to senior IT staff.
- Keep accurate logs of IT requests and solutions.
Requirements
- Diploma or certificate in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
- 1–2 years’ experience in IT support/helpdesk (entry-level grads welcome).
- Knowledge of Windows OS, networking, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and customer service abilities.
Preferred (Nice-to-Haves)
- Experience with Active Directory & basic server support.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (Microsoft 365 / Google Workspace).
- A+ or N+ certifications.
