IT Support Technician

About the Role

We’re looking for a detail-oriented IT Support Technician to provide technical assistance and ensure smooth day-to-day IT operations. You’ll be the first point of contact for staff experiencing technical difficulties, handling everything from troubleshooting to hardware/software maintenance.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-line technical support via phone, email, or in-person.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computers, printers, and other devices.
  • Support staff with Microsoft Office, email, and business applications.
  • Monitor system performance and escalate complex issues to senior IT staff.
  • Keep accurate logs of IT requests and solutions.

Requirements

  • Diploma or certificate in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 1–2 years’ experience in IT support/helpdesk (entry-level grads welcome).
  • Knowledge of Windows OS, networking, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and customer service abilities.

Preferred (Nice-to-Haves)

  • Experience with Active Directory & basic server support.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (Microsoft 365 / Google Workspace).
  • A+ or N+ certifications.
